Our story
Built on the factory floor, not in a boardroom
VeniXtus QMS exists because paper checklists and scattered spreadsheets were not good enough for the plants we have worked in.
VeniXtus QMS was founded by a quality assurance and SHEQ professional with more than eight years of hands-on experience in food manufacturing, dairy and aviation catering, the kind of environments where a missed critical control point check or a lost audit trail has real consequences.
After years of watching good QA teams get buried under paper checklists, disconnected spreadsheets and findings that quietly went nowhere, we set out to build the platform we wished we had: one place where an audit finding becomes a CAPA, a CAPA links to a risk, and every one of them surfaces at the next management review.
VENIXTUS (Pty) Ltd is based in Randburg, Johannesburg, South Africa, and the platform is designed around South African requirements such as the OHS Act and SAHPRA guidance, alongside international standards.
How we got here
From checklist to platform
The problem
Years of QA and food safety work exposed the same gap everywhere: audits, CAPA and risk lived in separate tools, or in no tool at all.
The first build
A single-purpose audit checklist app, built to solve one real problem at a time so no finding is lost and no CAPA forgotten.
Connecting the dots
Risk registers, document control, supplier quality, laboratory, occupational health and safety and more joined the platform, each feeding the others.
Controls that are enforced
Approvals by a second person, locked records, permanent history and controlled workflows for regulatory reporting, validation and design, applied on the server rather than left to good habits.
VeniXtus QMS
In 2026 the product became VeniXtus QMS, operated by VENIXTUS (Pty) Ltd.
What we believe
Principles behind the platform
Built by practitioners
Every module reflects a problem someone lived through on a real production floor, not a feature list from a sales deck.
Enforced, not suggested
If a rule matters, such as who may approve what, the system applies it on the server so it holds every time.
Connected by design
A finding, a CAPA, a risk and a management review are one thread, followed end to end.
